lifeblood maps out grief like points on a map connected by criss crossing lines. At the doors of its domain–a rock in the middle of a dark lake–the isolated griever faces the moments that brought them here alongside shapeshifting ghostly figures. Personal stories rattle through video projected on glass vases, sound, a cassette recorder, and movement patterns, as the memories within them abstract. Each round they fill the vases with water. As the strain nears a breaking point, so does the water reach its edge.
