Ephemeral Pleasures follows the dancer through a story of disillusionment with oneself and reality, as found in research on Imposter Syndrome and the Dunning-Kruger Effect. This film adaptation, made during quarantine, seeks to narratively capture the performer during an anxiety-driven state of self reflection on their worth within society. Featuring original music composition by Leng Bian, and live feedback projections by Haley Morgan Miller. Presented in the FRAMES Festival hosted by Collective Exchange, Anyplace Anytime Online Dance Film Festival by Cross Move Lab, and at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
