Emi Hana is a self-taught textile artist. Currently, they enjoy working in a variety of mediums including, crochet, sewing, and screen printing. Projects often begin from the simple desire of “Hey, I’d like to make that”. A common theme that appears in much of Emi's work is Memory and our relationship to it as we navigate this life. Their crochet work also brings feelings of child-like gentleness and whimsy.
